Running drama workshops is a great way to enhance your school’s extra-curricular programme and provide a fun, structured activity for your pupils. Sense Theatre makes hosting workshops hassle-free by supplying teachers to go into schools to run weekly after-school sessions.
All of these benefits come at absolutely no cost to you. We will hire a space from your school in which to hold the workshops each week, thus creating revenue for the school as well as providing an activity for the pupils. We also provide all the marketing and promotional material, including sign-up letters to go home with the children. This means there is no extra work for school office staff; Sense Theatre will even put all of the letters into piles of the correct number for each class!
Parents sign up their children for a set amount of sessions, either on a termly or half termly basis. Your pupils who attend these sessions will not only have a great time each week, but will also gain soft skills such as better concentration, an understanding of team-work and increased confidence, which transfer directly into the classroom and have a knock-on effect on their school work.
